Life can be lived on many different levels. We want to live life on the highest level. -Paul Muller-Ortega
Neelakantha Meditation as taught in Blue Throat Yoga Barbara Fugate - Authorized Teacher
Neelakantha Meditation is a simple practice of deep meditation that is easy to learn and to practice. It allows awareness to turn inwardly and take us deep inside ourselves. Working with the nature of the mind, the practice locates our capacity to move effortlessly inward without harsh concentration or attempts to control the mind or to stop our thoughts. Neelakantha Meditation is a practice for “householders”, those who are engaged in the world, with responsibilities, commitments, and relationships. It does not require any particular beliefs, background, or skill. When our awareness regularly steeps in that vibrant place of stillness deep within ourselves we are nourished and revitalized, and we bring increased clarity, equanimity, compassion, and creativity into our daily lives. Many people who have had difficulty meditating in the past are surprised at how easily and deeply they can meditate after learning Neelakantha Meditation. Read more about Neelakantha Meditation here.
I chose the name Meditation Grace for my offering of Neelakantha Meditation. Grace in this tradition is the highest evolutionary force of consciousness. Paul Muller-Ortega has described Grace as the overflowing of the freedom of consciousness that breaks through limitations and replaces ignorance with the auspicious character of freedom. This ultimate freedom of consciousness is the context and foundation for the practice of Neelakantha Meditation.
